CHRISTMAS – WORK – PLACE 2023

-traditionally, we hold a Christmas fair at Væveværkstedet in Smallegade, the first weekend in December.

As always, we have invited guest exhibitors from other disciplines. Artisans and visual artists who, like us at Væveværkstedet, work with small series and unique works/products – and it’s possible to find that special gift for your loved one.

We are open: Friday December 1, 10am-6pm, Saturday, December December 2, 10 am – 4 pm, Sunday, December December 3, 10 am – 4 pm

After that, we are available at the Væveværkstedet, by appointment, every other day until Christmas.

Recently I’ve been working on some new large scarves/scarves in a combination of alpaca and wool.
My wish is to create a large scarf/shawl that, without taking up too much space, can be worn and used in many ways – over the shoulders, around the neck, around the head, around the hips, over the feet in a cool living room – in short, an absolute utility item for daily enjoyment.
In this frame, inspired by a small detail on a Japanese kimono I saw in the Round Tower this summer, I have played with what stripes and checks can lead to. I’m especially excited to show them off.

In addition to them, I still have my alpaca plaids, many different scarves, rugs and mats.
