Welcome

The core idea

‘Whether I am in Iceland, observing how the mountains fold themselves into form, inside out, and what should be the ground beneath my feet rises up as mountainsides, hundreds of metres high, or whether I am inside a building in the Arab world, surrounded by its wealth of Moorish patterns in mosaics, stucco, carved wood and masonry, I have the same strong sense of the creative power of the world and the infinitely rich space we live in – shaped by nature and culture.’
