Fanefjord Church

– Fanefjord Church, on Møn, has asked me to design and weave a new altar carpet for the beautiful and iconic church room. On December 1, 2024, it was inaugurated at a beautiful high mass. With this, I completed a year and a half of thinking and weaving.

I am delighted with the great reception the altar carpet has received, because it is a privilege to weave a carpet for a church room and enter into a dialog with hundreds of years of history.

Along with the carpet, I handed in a report to the church about the work process and my thoughts on the assignment. The report(in Danish) can be found on the church’s website.
